It was one of those perfect Georgia mornings—sunny skies, crisp mountain air, and smiles all around as the Star Choices Inc. administrative staff gathered for a much-needed day of fun and connection aboard the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.
From the moment we stepped onto the vintage train cars, there was a buzz of excitement and laughter. This wasn’t just any outing—it was a chance to slow down, enjoy each other’s company, and soak in the breathtaking views of North Georgia’s rolling hills, sparkling rivers, and quaint little towns.
Conversations flowed freely. Some of us shared stories we hadn’t told in years, while others simply sat in peaceful reflection, watching the trees blur by like a painting in motion. There were snacks, selfies, and maybe even a little bit of silliness—because when you put this crew together, fun just happens.
We arrived in McCaysville and Copperhill like excited tourists, strolling the twin towns, picking up little treasures, and grabbing a bite to eat. It wasn’t about the itinerary—it was about the moments: the unexpected laughter, the shared meals, and the quiet appreciation for each other outside the walls of work.
As the train rumbled back toward Blue Ridge, there was a new kind of energy in the air—a deeper bond, a renewed sense of connection, and a few inside jokes that will probably live on forever.
We came for a train ride, but we left with something more: memories, appreciation, and a reminder that fun fuels the heart of our work.
