The Therap National Conference, held at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California, provided an excellent opportunity for Star Choices staff to expand their knowledge and strengthen their use of one of our most important documentation and service management tools.
Therap continues to play a vital role in how Star Choices documents services, tracks outcomes, and supports people with developmental disabilities. Throughout the conference, attendees learned how providers from across the country are utilizing the platform, explored innovative documentation practices, and gained valuable insight into how states operating under managed care are maximizing Therap’s capabilities.
One of the most exciting topics was the growing integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the Therap platform. Sessions highlighted both current AI features and future enhancements designed to improve efficiency, documentation quality, and service delivery.
Beyond the educational sessions, the conference also provided valuable networking opportunities with providers from across the nation, allowing attendees to exchange ideas, share best practices, and build professional connections. Of course, there was also time to enjoy some fun after conference hours with putt-putt golf, go-karts, Hollywood, great food, and a little Therap swag that was appreciated by everyone—including those who couldn’t attend!
