Updated CDC guidelines linking mask wearing to community transmission rates.

As of 03/16/2022, we are so excited that we are able to remove our mask while in inside public places in Georgia. Our counties of service currently is in the “low” transmission category.

Each week on Monday morning we will review the CDC current transmission numbers for our counties of service.  If those numbers are in the “high” transmission category we will begin again wearing a mask indoors in public.  If those numbers are in the “low” or “medium” transmission range then we will continue to not require the wearing of facemask indoors in public.

To be clear, anyone who prefers to continue to wear their mask should feel comfortable and free to do that.  If a change occurs, going from wearing mask to not wearing a mask or going from not wearing a mask to wearing a mask, we will send out an email on Monday morning to let everyone know.  If no change occurs based on community spread then we will not send anything out and the status quo continues.

Administration will be checking this weekly and updating everyone by email if a change is needed based on community spread numbers in our County.

PS: Community spread by County.
