What a wonderful day celebrating the team that helps lead Star Choices and our supports into the future.
Our adventure began with a trip to Discovery Mills in Suwanee, Georgia, with highlights including a visit to Bass Pro Shop. We then challenged ourselves with a Harry Houdini themed escape room. While we didn’t manage to escape, we did survive an hour together in a tiny room and had plenty of laughs along the way!
Next, we enjoyed lunch on beautiful Lake Lanier with spectacular views of the lake and marina. The food was excellent, and the setting made for a memorable afternoon.
One of the most meaningful moments of the day came when Program Coordinator Sue Studham presented a scrapbook filled with memories, words of appreciation, and personal messages from coworkers and staff. The thoughtful feedback and recognition shared with our administrative and management team touched many hearts. Tears were shed, smiles were shared, and gratitude filled the room.
To our administrative and management team: it is truly an honor to serve alongside each of you. Thank you for your leadership, dedication, and commitment to the people we support and to the mission of Star Choices.
